Grown in the Cajamarca region of Peru, this coffee is produced by one of the largest and best organized coops in the region. CENFROCAFE is a group of coffee farmers, producers, washers, and sellers that focus on sustainable, ethical, and organic farming techniques. The coop produces about 12 million kilos of coffee per year. This makes it one of the largest producers in the country. With coffee leaf rust becoming more prevalent in recent years, the farmers have pushed organic and sustainable growing practices rather than relying on harsh chemical treatments of crops which have yielded fantastic results.

The notes for this coffee are: sweet and savory with citric acidity and a smooth mouthfeel; chocolate, citrus fruit and toffee with an herbal aftertaste. We recommend using 20g dose in the Aeropress.
